My Birthday Month

I'm so excited to have a whole birthday month to celebrate me. My Mom is flying down and we are going on the airplane to see everybody in Everett. Mom planned a Princess Party for me and I do well on the plane, I do well anywhere though I'm an easy going kinda kid. Although I don't like to go without my breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, and snacks or a good afternoon nap to make in until my Dad gets home at night. I have fun in Washington but am glad to be home and ready to plan my party with Dad. I requested an Elmo Party to the chagrin of Grandma and Aunt Phoebe but they came through. Trish cooked dinner for us and Uncle Jake, Uncle Burt, Aunt Phoebe, Aunt Rachel, Porter, Ava, Walter, Emmett, along with Trish, her brother and Dad and Grandma and Grandpa. I loved getting a hairdresser chair, and Elmo camera, and babies. Lots of balloons and family the best.

Due to weather and more weather we are having a visit from Aunt Megan and my cousins in January instead of December. I get to hold Leo who is almost bigger than my lap and spend a day at Gateway Discovery. It's great to be me. Jan 2011

Growing, Growing, Growing

I've grown 1 inch and gained 4 pounds in the last 4 months. I've had a sinus infection and lots of runny nose. Drip,Drip,Drip Yuck!
I'm really excited that the grown ups can finally understand lots of the things I'm saying. My vocabulary is expanding every day and I like to exercise it lots during the day. I am totally in love with Sesame Street, Elmo and Abby are on the top of my list of favorites. Grandma and I will try to work on getting some catch up posts and photos on my blog soon.

CPK first snow

What a difference a year makes. Last year Lulu was just learning to walk this year we are learning to talk more and more and when this white stuff fell she and cousin ET wanted to investigate. They have a love hate relationship (what happened to the two babies that loved sitting and playing together) oh yea almost 2 year olds. Everything is "MINE" and "NO". Lulu loves saying "Nope" too. What a couple of characters they are. They did like touching the white stuff until it made their hands cold but they would only leave mittens on for a few seconds. Silly babies.

Mile Stones

Today marked a new page in my history book. Since I am now 18 months old I can go to the nursery with the other big kids in the ward. At first I was a little concerned, that when we opened the door there were two wild boys racing and crashing into the cupboards, but when I saw the cupboards were full of new toys I was almost persuaded to stay. It took another moment to forget about Grandma and I was off to play with the blocks. I did get a little teary eyed when Aunt Phoebe came to check on me, but then remembered that I really liked the nursery leader, who had a story, a drink, and a cookie. I really was impressive for the whole day and made it through Sacrament without incident but when I arrived home all I wanted was a binky and a nap. Grandma said she could probably use a nap too so I must have really good ideas and I can hardly wait to try out the nursery again.

July Adventures

The 3rd of July I went to the park to see Grandpa play guitar.

July 11th my Mom came and I helped her celebrate her birthday we went swimming to a water park and took a rode trip to St George where it was really hot. It was a fun week and I got to spend time with my Uncle John too.

My Mom fixed my hair really cute and I'm showing it off.

On the 24th we went to a Salt Lake Bees game, at first it scared me when everyone clapped and screamed then I liked it because everyone was happy and I even liked the fireworks they had music. I stayed up too late on lots of nights this month so I'm planning on sleeping in a lot this week and playing with my cousins who will be home from Maryland Tuesday. I can hardly wait.
Well W & ET are home and I didn't know my little legs could go so fast as I ran out to the car when I saw them set feet on home turf. What a fun day we had.

I have now turned the 16 month mark and celebrated.with Dad and family. It was a very special day and church was awesome lots of good treats and friends.Hurray!

I Have the Beat.

Just ask anybody when there is music I'll be moving with the beat tapping my feet, nodding my head, moving my arms. And so when we went to the Tooele Arts Festival I was enjoying every minute. Lots of little people running around, lots of music to jive to and some real cool food stuff like Snowies. I was on baby overload for two days. By the end of the day I just wanted my binky and bed, I even slept in on Sunday. I'm a wonderful toddler. On the way to the park. Waiting for the music to begin. Grandpa and his friends.
First thing in the morning I like to go out and make sand castles, swing and visit the neighbors.

Changing Every Day

I have now grown into a darling 15 month toddler and I have photos to prove it. Grandpa wears a hat I wear a hat, Dad wears sunglasses I wear my cousins sunglasses, if cousin W splashes in the tub I splash in the tub if he pours buckets of water on himself I do the same. I love outside and going for walks and rides. Life is good. Perhaps my very favorite things to do is make Grandma crazy by pulling random interesting things out of the garbage and washing my hands and toys in the toilet. HEHEHE Bye Bye for now.

The sun came out the wind was quite and the snow melted. Look at me having the time of my life. Did you ever see anyone so cute? I'm taking advantage of ET's BD present for my entertainment really like it when I can inspect it all by myself.
This was yesterday morning when all the cousins just couldn't wait to be outside. W with sunglasses is giving us a demo on how to be a roaring liger, before we were herded inside for breakfast.

I'm getting so big. I am walking all over the place. I am such a girl and I love to make little diva noises. I am the best mommy and have lots of babies to look after. Mostly I drag them around with me wherever I go. By the way, how come no one ever told me how good birthday cake is? I think I'll have another birthday next week.

It's been a cold and cloudy month here in the Garden Country, but I love to go outside even if it's just to go out the back door over to see my cousins and Aunt. So, I have been working on several plans. Walking, talking, reading, playing in the toilet and showing up in the kitchen at the sound of food being eaten.More to come on all my cuteness. Is that a word?

Santa is Coming to Town

There is lots of excitement around here and the family is talking about Santa coming to town.
Yesterday my Dad took me to see Santa, I was not impressed.

I think my cousins liked this fat jolly guy but then they're boys.
We did get a candy cane so the visit wasn't an entire loss. I was glad to head home. Now if I can just figure out why we have a tree in the house.

Now I can Crawl

Life has changed I can now motor all over the house. I sometimes get stuck but that's not to upsetting. I really have fun moving these beads around.I can now pull myself up on anything, at first only short tables but I have now mastered chairs, walls, furniture and walls. I'm pretty impressed with myself and I now can get back down on the floor to crawl, cool huh.

Wow, it's been a while, time flies.......In the meantime, I've learned to crawl and I said my first word, Ba Ba (bottle). I'm a little food oriented. I went to the pumpkin patch last Saturday and picked out my perfect pumpkin. Here I am taking it all in.

New Haircut

I was out and about the other day talking to the twins up the lane and they told me they had just had their first haircut. I looked perplexed (they didn't have any hair that I could see) and stared at their Mom. She explained that she shaved the girls head so it would grow in evenly. I liked the idea since my hair was behaving quite badly in the last month, growing only on one side and in Mohawk style on the top and nothing in the back. I took the idea to my Dad and told him if he shaved his hair I would do the same. He didn't know I had a plan to improve the beautiful tresses I will have in the future. He agreed and so here I am sporting my new haircut. I'm cute.

My Official Six Month Photo Shoot

Today I agreed to wear a long sleeve dress even though it was in the 80's for my official photo shoot. My Aunt Princess P surprised me with this darling dress in the perfect colors. On August 25th I turned six months and now I have the shots to document my wonderfulness. I can sit up for extended periods of time and when I'm on my tummy I twirl around and move across the blanket and if I'm feeling extra frisky I get up on my knees and hands and rock. This takes a lot a concentrating and seriousness.

A Milestone day for me I turned 6 months old. I am so big. I chatter to the family when ever there is a good conversation going on and I really like to sit in my high chair so I have a bird's eye view of activities. Well lets see I might like movin and shakin across the floor even more. Mmmmmm lets see what do I like best mmmmmm will have to think about it. Oh the best is riding on Dad's shoulders and pulling his hair. That's the funniest. And then I did like sitting in cousin W's chair for my 6 month celebration.

I attended my first ever concert on Friday. Since I fall in the 2 and under category, I got in for free. I'm awesome. Blake Shelton was pretty cool too. We had lawn seats and I had a good time watching my cousin "W" dance, he's wild. I like it.

Today Daddy and Aunt Duchess took me and my cousin, Little Sir out for a play date at the park. We went on the swings

But I was kinda mad 'cause Daddy didn't fix my hair and Auntie Duchess wanted to take my picture.

But then Daddy made me feel better. . . he let me wear his cool hat!

We had lots of fun and I am going to miss my cousin, Little Sir, so much. Here is a picture Aunt Duchess took of us a few days ago. (it also shows how cute my hair looks when it's done cute!)
